James “Bo” Trotter, Jr.
President, Chief Executive Officer, & Founder

Bo’s experience in medical group practice management began in 1977 and provided a unique background when he started MSN based on a client-focused business philosophy. He understands practice operations, physician concerns and how emerging trends can impact the financial performance of a practice. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Bo is a Past President of the Radiology Business Management Association and a founding member of the Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA). He also serves as Executive Secretary for the Georgia Radiological Society GRS, where he was recently honored with the GRS Gold Medal for his professional contributions. Bo has served on the American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Regulatory Compliance Committee, the Economics Commission, and the Committee on Coding and Nomenclature. He is a member of the RBMA Inaugural class of Fellows, having been awarded the designation of Fellow of the RBMA in June 2010.

Jim P. Trotter, III
Chief Operations Officer

Jim oversees all operational areas of MSN to ensure client service goals are prioritized, including implementation of technology and innovation to meet objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. He is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies consistent with execution of the MSN business plan. Jim is an active member of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA), earned the status of Certified Healthcare Billing Management Executive (CHBME) and an active member of the Georgia Radiology Business Management Association (GRBMA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Barbara has been a leader with MSN Client Services since 1998. Her extensive background in strategic planning, market research, healthcare marketing and managed care negotiations provide a wealth of information to support MSN Clients. Barbara has also been highly involved in industry organizations, serving as President of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA), the Georgia RBMA, and the Florida RBMA. In addition, she chaired the influential RBMA Federal Affairs Committee and the RBMA Technology Task force and was a member of the RBMA Data Committee. Her work on behalf of radiology has earned her the RBMA Special Recognition Award (2010), the RBMA Global Achievement Award (2013), and she is a Fellow of the RBMA.

Steve brings a varied radiology background to MSN clients, with 27 years’ experience working with radiology groups in different capacities. He has been an operations manager for a large private practice group serving multiple hospitals and imaging centers and also developed and implemented business expansion opportunities for a consortium of leading radiology practices.  In addition, Steve has successfully worked in sales for both revenue cycle management companies as well as market-leading radiology practice management and radiology information systems. He has been involved with the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) as a member of the Board of Directors for the national organization as well as revitalizing the Colorado RBMA chapter and serving as its President.

Terry provides MSN with decades of experience in healthcare sales, marketing and Client support. His professional career has been dedicated to the development and support of Clients in the physician practice management arena, and more specifically radiology billing and information systems. Terry has been responsible for the development of a broad spectrum of clients for MSN from the initial practice review through contract implementation. In addition, he plays a major role in client communications and support. Terry is a graduate of Villanova University with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in marketing. He has been an active member of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) for over 19 years and currently serves on the RBMA Data Committee.

Chris brings more than 20 years of experience to his role in client services and marketing. He joined the MSN team in 2011 and has worked with many physician group practices to evaluate their business models and then assist them in improving efficiency and profitability. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point and began his healthcare career in physical therapy before transitioning to marketing. Chris has been active as a member of several physician practice management organizations. He enjoys time with his family and pets, and participating in various outdoor activities.

Deborah has more than three decades of experience working with physicians across the country to maximize practice revenues, reimbursement and improve financial performance. She joined MSN in 2009 and clients have benefited from her expertise in revenue cycle management, practice development, marketing, payor contracting, imaging center operations and hospital-based practice administration. She holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and is an active member of the Radiology Business Management Association.

Larry Dean
Business Development

Larry joined MSN in 2021 with 25 years in business development, including eight focused on medical billing services. He has worked at a variety of medical industry trade shows in anesthesiology, emergency medicine, and radiology, helping to increase booth traffic through extensive outreach activities. He also possesses an extensive background in ERP, accounting, and project management software solutions. Larry earned a BBA in accounting from Texas Tech University and began his career with 16 years of progressive accounting in the food processing industry, rising from accountant to CFO. He is a current member of the RBMA.

Jimmy has 25+ years of anesthesia business development experience. His thorough understanding of the specialty includes billing operations, EMR/AIMS platforms, pre-collection strategies, customized compensation reporting, and optimal deductible claims staging. He has successfully onboarded more than 250 anesthesia clients throughout his career and has worked with independent group practices, MSOs, academic teaching institutions and facility partners. Jimmy remains intricately involved in all aspects of the start-up process, to ensure that his clients transitions are seamless, with no delays in cashflow.
