Walking for Wellness
Walking is one of the easiest ways to to get the exercise you need to stay healthy. Not only is it easy, but there are a plethora of health benefits that accompany walking. Such benefits include increased cardiovascular and pulmonary fitness, reduced risk of heart disease and stroke, stronger bones, improved balance, and increased management of conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, joint and muscle pain and stiffness, and diabetes.
Walking Warrior Challenge
The MSN Wellness Walking Warrior Challenge for the month of October had a total of 126 participants! Our company wide daily step count was on average at about 4,000 steps.
The challenge was accepted by a diverse group of team members from all over the country, and it was truly amazing to see all the places their daily walks took them.
